The TF series of thermal overload relays from ABB are an economical, electromechanical device for protection of motor circuits. These overloads are sized for the contactor frame size, so pay attention to the range of AF series contactors that each overload is compatible with. Use the filter to select the range of contactor you have or are buying so the page only displays overloads that will fit on your contactor. The TF overload offers fast, reliable protection for motors in the case of overload or phase failure. The device has trip class 10 and is rated for up to 600V AC/DC. The TF series includes ambient temperature compensation, trip contact (NC), signal contact (NO) auto or manual reset selectable, trip free mechanism, STOP function and a trip indicator light. The TF series mounts directly to the AF Series block contactors however, stand-alone mounting kits are available.
