JL1-H

The JL1 series of overloads are sized to fit with Springer Controls IEC contactors from 9A up to 32A. (The 9A mini-contactors will not work with a JL1 overload. You need a JM03 mini-overload for the mini-contactor)
The JL1 series of overload relays provide motor overload protection though fixed bimetal heaters. These relays are ambient temperature compensated and utilize a differential mechanism for single phase sensitivity. The trip setting is adjustable for the range listed for each overload. Overload relays feature visible trip indication, reset on the upstroke, weld check and trip test.
Overload relays may be set for 4 different operational modes.
1) Manual Reset Only- requires operator to press reset button in case of overload
2) Automatic Reset Only – When overload is tripped, system will restart automatically when the overload cools down
3) Manual Reset / Stop – Same as #1 but can also be used as a stop button to turn off motor
4) Automatic Reset / Stop – Same as #2 but button can be used to manually stop motor as well
