Springer Controls offers a wide range of IEC contactors for switching
motor load applications. The contactors can be combined with Springer Controls
overload relays, sold separately, for a complete motor starter package.  The contactors range from 9 amp mini-contactors
through 700 amp, most are available in 3 or 4 pole versions, and a variety of
auxiliary contacts are available in both normally open (n.o.) and normally
closed (n.c.) configurations.  Auxiliary
contacts are rated for 10 amps and can be side mounted or front mounted to suit
your space requirements.  In addition to
auxiliary contacts, we offer a full range of accessories like mechanical
interlocks for reversing functions, electronic and pneumatic timers for on or
off delay operations, and surge suppressors. All contactors are rated up to 690VAC
line power voltage, and are UL listed and CSA certified.

Contactors are specified by their maximum
amperage.  You must ensure the contactor
can handle the maximum current draw (amps) of the motor or load you are
using.  The safest way to verify this, is
to read the Full Load Amperage (FLA) off the motor nameplate or refer to the
specifications of the device you are powering. 
The current will vary with the voltage used so please be sure to use the
FLA for the line voltage you will be using. 
The line voltage does not always match the coil voltage of the
